This process is pretty cool. I have now created a blog and an avatar. Blogs can be very helpful in the classroom. I can use this blog to maintain an open channel of communication with parents. This blog can also be used to communicate with students outside of school. Student work can also be posted, with parent permission, so that parents can see the progress that the children are making in the classroom. And if students have any questions outside of school they can look back at the blog to see any classroom news or notes.
